Participate and act in the capacity of a senior technical specialist to design, develop, implement, document, maintain and support Department of Sanitation’s (DSNY) legacy IBM mainframe SCAN applications.
Mandatory Skill/Expertise
This position requires a minimum of 15 years of experience in application architecture and design on large scale IBM mainframe environments with technical expertise in TSO, JCL, COBOL, ADABAS and Natural, Production Support methodologies, principles, and testing.
Applicant should have a minimum of 5 years of experience working in a Production environment with Software AG’s middleware products such as Adabas SQL Server, webMethods EntireX, and Event Replicator.
Applicant should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in data migration and replication between Adabas and Microsoft SQL Server/Oracle.
Applicant should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in web service development and web based database application development using Apache, Tomcat, PHP, IIS, Microsoft SQL Server/Oracle.
