The Department of Information Resources (DIR) requires the services of one Network Administrator, hereafter referred to as Worker(s), who meets the general qualifications of ITSAC Network Administrator 1 Category, Core Technology Type and the specifications outlined in this document for the Texas Department of Aging & Disability Services Commission (DADS). All work products resulting from the project shall be considered “works made for hire” and are the property of the DADS. DADS may include pre-selection requirements that potential Vendors (and their Workers) submit to and satisfy criminal background checks as authorized by the Texas law. DADS will pay no fees for interviews or discussions, which occur during the process of selecting a Worker(s). Project Overview: Worker will serve as member of multi-agency team performing Exchange server/Outlook administration and support. Work performed includes monitoring, diagnosing, and resolving problems with Exchange servers and operating systems; monitoring tape back-ups, including reviewing logs, restarting jobs, and performing tape rotation activities; performing select Exchange/Outlook maintenance activities, including occasional after-hours/weekend work and other duties as assigned.
