This is a 13 Month project with our client in San Antonio, TX Minimum Requirements: · 6 years experience: Supporting PeopleSoft HCM application in a lead role with recent version of PeopleSoft · 6 years experience: Previous relevant experience delivering ERP systems that facilitate organizational effectiveness via efficient business processes, reporting and customer service. · 3 years experience: Project Management Experience · Experience and understanding of Human Resources, Payroll, Benefit and Compensation and Budget department operational needs and business requirements. · Ability to work effectively with college students, faculty, and staff in a culturally diverse metropolitan university · Supervisory and managerial experience with ERP project teams · PeopleSoft HCM version 8.0 experience · Proficiency with Microsoft Suite Products (VISIO, Word, Excel, SharePoint, MS Project, and PowerPoint) · Skilled in the use of all standard equipment to include standard office workstation · Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution Preferences: · Experience implementing PeopleSoft HCM application functionality and providing post-implementation stabilization to large organizations and functional area operations. · Project management experience implementing enterprise wide systems/technology in Higher Education environment. · Experience with data conversion and validation process required for major systems transition required of a large organization · Change management experience related to transition of business processes and practice across a large institution · Through understanding of Texas State laws, operations, and responsibilities of public university in a multi-cultural setting. · University of Texas System component institution experience · Project Management Professional (PMP) certifications · Experience with HCM version 9.1 or greater · Experience with PeopleSoft Financials and integration points with HCM · Experience with data warehousing/EPM and OBIEE reporting tools · Master’s degree in Business Applications, Information Systems or related Description Worker Essential Responsibilities: · Facilitate, execute, and assist UTSA PeopleSoft Project Manager with managing the project plan and schedules for the functional business areas of the Project. · Coordinate schedules with Implementation Partner Functional Leads. · Develop and maintain a functional understanding of configuration and changes to other systems and UT campuses. · Ensure all functional area’s Project business processes are documented. · Configure the system and help develop the future business processes. · Ensure data quality and accuracy. · Ensure that the Project application and supporting software accommodates the business needs and requirements. · Ensure efficiency and improvement is obtained with the integration of Business processes. · Lead and manage functional delivery of Self-service applications. · Lead and manage functional team members’ assignments, schedules, adherence to project methodology for the Project. · Participate and assist HCM project team with conversion activities (scope, mapping, data validation and testing). · Participate and assist HCM project team with security design and testing. · Oversee and facilitate resolution of all functional enhancements, modifications and business process changes. · Ensure commitment to Project assignments, schedules and project management methodologies for all business functional support areas. · Escalate issues to the UTSA PeopleSoft Project Manager and Shared Services team. · Provide HCM application knowledge transfer to HCM project team, Human Resource Department and Training team for effective application and use of system functionality and processes. · Prepare presentations and provide demonstrations as required to assist dissemination of HCM functionality to the University and key stakeholders. Worker Role Specific Responsibilities: · Support and assist with managing Project functional area project timelines, deliverables and milestones for all staff reporting to this position. · Identify and facilitate the resolution of project issues with core functional areas and ancillary external/internal administration offices. · Prepare scope-related functional area decision documents, Business process changes for UTSA Project Manager review and escalation. · Plan, coordinate and monitor the Project activities of all Functional area SMEs. · Communicate and work closely with Project’s Technical Lead, Business Process Coordinator, Reporting Lead, Testing Lead, Training Lead and Change Management Lead to assure that all Business processes are properly defined, documented, and functional effectively for all end-users. · Ensure that functional processes meet Internal Audit standards and recommendation. · Recommend options and solutions, as needed. · Facilitate process reviews · Facilitate development of prototypes. · Recommend and develop future business processes. · Recommend and support required table set up. · Assist with security design and setup. · Define required reports. · Create and facilitate the uses of test scripts. · Define medications/customizations and assist in specification development. · Perform analysis and testing as required. · Assure functional area teams and SMEs are appropriately trained and have the skills to support their respective roles/responsibilities with the Project and post-implementation production support. · Prepare and coordinate production go-live cut-over plan for functional area activities and resources. · Partner with team members to ensure Project success. · Perform additional duties as assigned. Worker Managerial Responsibilities: · Plan, coordinate and monitor the Project activities of all HCM Functional area SMEs. · Ensure functional area team commitment to Project plan, assignments and methodologies. · Coordinate and facilitate meetings with HCM functional teams as needed. · Ensure functional team deliverables exist and meet quality expectations. · Support and ensure functional area user acceptance testing and parallel testing resources’ availability, need and schedule. · Track and monitor resolution progress for issue findings and related customizations, modifications and enhancements. · Review, document and relay HCM project team members’ commitment and performance with tasks and assignments during the Project. · Identify and facilitate the resolution of project issues with core functional areas and ancillary external/internal administration offices. · Prepare scope-related HCM functional area decision documents and business process changes and for UTSA Project Manager review and escalation.
